Full Time Student

Well...... Yes it is true.  Our household now has two full time students.  I have gone back to school.  I am now attending Steiner School of Esthetics.  I will admit, it was hard as Brian, Amanda and Vincent all dropped me off at 8:00am rather than vice a versa.  We all know, I did shed a tear or two.  I wasn't all that sure of leaving my postion at home for a postion in front of a white board taking notes and a lab.
It has now been over 5 weeks since I started school and I will say it is one of the best decisions we have made.  Brian has adapted very well into the Mr. Mom roll during the day, Vincent is now on summer break working for the Pool Company again and Amanda is just doing her thing.
I luv that I have decided to follow my passion for Skin Care and will be finishing school in December.  It's amazing to me how much I have learned in just a short amount of time.
If you are in the Valley and would like a facial...... They are $25.00 and I work on Saturdays in the Clinic from 9-12. (The payment is directly to the school).
I will admit that I thought it was going to be much harder. But so far, we have been truly blessed.

Our First Date Night

A very dear friend of mine is making her way in the music industry.  She already has four albums, performs house concerts and small venue concerts all around the States and is now on Pandora.  I have know her since I was just 16 so you can imagine how thrilled I was to know she was in the Valley.  Brian and I packed the diaper bag (Vincent still tired from surgery the day before) and got ready to head out for our first concert/date night. I wish I had pictures of the view of the Valley that night and of us.. It's so much fun to finally get dressed up and have somewhere to go.  But honestly I was just so excited to see Sarah and hear, watch her play I didn't pay attention to really anything else.
It was a wonderful evening and I thank my husband for driving me all the way across the Valley for a concert.
I am so proud and honored to know Sarah Sample.  She has been playing her quitar since she really was just a kid.  It is mesmorizing to watch someone with such passion and talent as she does.

Thank you Sarah Sample for my first date night since our baby girl.  You made the night oh that much more special.  LUV YOU!

Wee Wee Wee All the way home

For some time now Vincent has needed Oral Surgery.  To tell you the truth we have been putting it off.  Then it worked out that when we were ready, the Dr. was not ready.  After a month of going back and forth and knowing exactly what they were doing, Vincent went under.  Brian was able to give him a Father's blessing the night before.  (You know I was beyond nervous)
Friday May 20 (only 5 days before school let out) Amanda and I took Vincent bright and early for his 7:00 surgery.
I really didn't know what to expect, nor do I think Vincent did either.  But after the hour in the waiting room he was ready for recovery.  Spending 45 minutes in recovery with someone who thought he was extremely funny and a baby ready to eat.... let's just say what a way to start the day.
After a couple hours of ice packs, sleeping and laughing for no reason, Vincent was starting off to a good road to recovery.

(sorry no pictures, I lost all picture from March until June on my phone :()
